My exam is less than 2 days away and I actually spent the whole of today playing Typing Maniac. I TRIED to study but somehow..the Internet is always a vice. Bleaghh.

Tomorrow I must lock the laptop up.

My Hkie friend suddenly talked to me on msn, saying that she's going back to HK tmr, and asked me to date her out if I go back during holidays. Well, time flies. Quite sad that we didn't really hang out after the first month or so but.. at least I've made one 'international' friend out of exchange! Hehh. Which is pathetic considering that you're supposed to meet lots of people from all over, yet all the new friends I've made on this exchange are Singaporeans from NTU, how ironic.

This exchange, I've done some things I never thought I would.. such as write 2000 word Chinese essays, sit in a taxi for ten hours, experience negative temperature and snow, become friends with people I never thought I would hang out with. First impressions aren't always correct, somehow.

Some of the ATs ask "So will you come back to China again?" and I don't like to lie so I usually reply 'maybe 10 years later'. I think that's an honest reply, I wouldn't want to come back so soon cos I think I'll learn to appreciate more historical and scenic stuff when I'm ten years older, then I can visit the 'must-goes' that I missed this time, Xian and Yunnan =) Plus, I'm quite interested in visiting Sichuan.

I'm leaving in 4 days too but I've got no feelings, I actually kinda enjoy staying here by myself, such a hermit crab I am. Haha actually I'm more worried about passing my exam now. One must not be too complacent, I kept thinking I don't really need to study for it since it's in English but apparently I found out that I still need to put in effort.

so..BYEBYEEE China..I'll miss your Mengniu yoghurt drink (the thick kind you can never find in SG), cheap Korean food, ma la tang, squid and jinzhengu chuan, bingtanghulu and so on..but I won't miss the chaotic traffic, crowded trains and non air-conditioned buses nor long hard seat train rides. HAHHAH.
